A Journey in Film: Lauren Kisilevsky
Vice President of Original Movies Disney Channel

ON DEMAND

Lauren Kisilevsky is Vice President for Original Movies at the Disney Channel and is responsible for the creative development of Disney Channel Original Movies as well Disney Channel-produced movies for Disney+.

Most recent projects include the third movie in the Descendants franchise; fan favourite Zombies 2 as well as the recently premiered Upside Down Magic and The Secret Society of Second Born Royals, the latter for Disney+. The premiere telecast of Descendants 3 delivered over 11 million viewers. She has also overseen beloved Disney Channel movies including Teen Beach 2, Zombies and a live-action version of Kim Possible Zapped starring Zendaya. She has also held executive positions for Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher.

Lauren talks with Carol Ann Whitehead FRSA (The Zebra Partnership and Diversity Director for Industry Week) about her career in film and some of the amazing projects she has worked upon. She will be de-mystifying the business side of TV movies and the team working side of film creation and production.
